one day

So today I have decided to become more passionate about my passions 🙂 Cliche . maybe . but here is one of them.

ONE DAY WITHOUT SHOES

One Day Without Shoes is an annual event hosted by TOMS Shoes in which students, friends, parents, strangers, and co-workers host or participate in events without shoes. Some go without shoes for an hour, some for the whole day, but all become a part of a greater movement toward change.

It might be cold, it’ll probably be uncomfortable, and our feet will certainly get dirty, but by doing so, we’ll help raise awareness of the impact a simple pair of shoes can bring to a child’s life.

This is something I find so interesting and very fun!! We did it last year and people asked what we were doing and it was a great chance to share information about how so many children in third world countries go without shoes for so long and have major health concerns because of it or possibly can not go to school because they are not allowed when shoeless.

So my friend from Regina and myself made a facebook event page – i am sure there are like tons of these but just to share information and a place where people can get excited about it!! So the link to the event that you should attend is:  http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=150623914974309

Now with Toms I should probably mentian that with every pair of TOMS shoes you purchase a pair of shoes is given to a child in need of shoes!  So by you buying some AMAZING shoes which you will love dearly you are helping someone who needs them very badly!!  It is lovely!!

So here is a video just to get everyone better informed and excited!! 🙂

Become Passionate about something!!

Cheers!
